UWS Village has a range of brand new five and six bedroom units opened in January 2009. Modern, high quality furniture, stainless steel/granite finishes in kitchens and spacious bedrooms ensure that all areas within the Village provide a refreshing and comfortable environment for all groups to enjoy.

The convenient location provides easy access to local attractions, including Parramatta’s Westfield shopping centre, one of the largest shopping malls in the region.

We're perfect for independent travelers and conference, business, education, sports and other accommodation groups looking to get out of the Sydney city!

Central Location

UWS Village is located on the corner of Pemberton St & Victoria Rd, Parramatta. One of the fastest growing regions in Australia, Parramatta offers a diverse range of fashion stores, live music, theatres, galleries and some of Western Sydney’s best restaurants. The Village is located a 30 minute drive from the Sydney CBD.

The heart of the Parramatta CBD is a 10 minute drive from the Village, where you will find a number of local attractions for all kinds of accommodation groups. These include The Riverside Theatre, Parramatta Stadium, Parramatta Pool, Old Government House at Parramatta Park, The Laugh Garage (the oldest surviving pub in Australia) and many others, all within walking distance from one another.

Getting Around

A 5 minute bus ride from right outside the Village will take you into the Parramatta CBD and a 40 minute bus ride will take you into the heart of Sydney City. Transport links such as the Parramatta train station, Parramatta Valley Cycle Way and The Rivercat provide easy access to the local area, Sydney city and more. Explore the Parramatta CBD with the free, environmentally friendly City Council bus, The Loop. There's never an excuse to be bored!

Parking

Secure metered parking is located on University grounds for $6.00 per day (valid until midnight). University security patrol the grounds regularly. Driveway entry gates are locked at 11:00pm and reopen at 6:00am. There is also free street parking located just outside the Village, with 24 hour pedestrian access.

Meeting Room

Whether it is a meeting or a group discussion - our meeting room can accommodate for up to 12 people. Our meeting room can be set up in a way that you wish - meeting table and chairs, lounges, or a more relaxed option of beanbags, it is up to you!

  • Outdoor Courtyards The accommodation is set around landscaped outdoor courtyards for your enjoyment. You are welcome to grab a coffee and relax on the grass anytime.
  • Shared Spaces These areas are shared by all guests and can also be made available for private functions. Shared spaces are ideal for registrations or a chill out area where groups can get together to watch a movie, play games, conduct group activities or relax with a book and a cup of coffee. Our recreation lounge features a pool table, vending machines, table tennis and a TV room with Foxtel.
  • BBQs An outdoor bbq is available free of charge for guest use.
  • Business Centre The Business Centre is equipped with a variety of technology and has computers set up in an ergonomically sound environment for your enjoyment. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • Internet Broadband Internet can be accessed from most of the Village rooms or from the on-site Business Centre. Village staff can assist you with all your internet requirements.
  • Laundry The Village has a coin operated laundry that can be accessed day and night. Entry is available to guests via security access.
