UNSW Village is located on High Street, on the University of New South Wales’ main campus. Situated right next to Anzac Parade and in the vibrant suburb of Kensington, the Village is a five minute walk from a diverse selection of shops and restaurants. The Royal Randwick Racecourse is just across the road, with function rooms offering fantastic views of the tracks. And for those out to catch some sun, some of Sydney’s most popular beaches are a short bus ride away.

With a main bus stop right around the corner, Bondi Junction shopping mall and the city’s attractions are all easily accessible.

UNSW Village provides a range of self-contained one bedroom studios, five bedroom apartments and six bedroom apartments, perfect for sporting, conference, education and other accommodation groups. Apartments feature high quality furniture, open plan living spaces and have been architecturally designed to create a relaxing and stylish atmosphere for all guests. The Village also has environmentally sustainable design features to compliment its surroundings. A number of conferencing centres are located in close proximity to the Village, with accommodation and function packages available on request.

Getting Around

UNSW Village is located at the University of New South Wales, just a 15 minute drive to the City Centre and the Sydney Domestic and International airport. Bus stops are located right outside the Village, with express buses running regularly to Central Station, Circular Quay and other Sydney attractions.

The Village has limited parking available, which can be arranged on request. Spaces are subject to availability.

Breakfast Pack

All rooms are self contained however we can supply a breakfast pack at $10.00 per person, per night.

Breakfast packs include cereal (eg. one of the following: Special K, Just Right, Corn Flakes, Sultana Bran), milk, juice, bar, sugar.

Conference Catering

Conference Day and Dinner packages can be tailored to suit your budget.  Please advise our event coordinator of your budget and dietary requirements and we will provide a menu to suit.

The coffee kiosk is the best places to grab a quick coffee or afternoon snack.

Village Facilities

  • Village Courtyards UNSW Village is set around a number of courtyards with contemporary landscaping. You are welcome to take your shoes off, grab a coffee and relax on the grass anytime.
  • Theatre Our on-site theatre sits approximately 160 people (theatre style only) and is available for private functions. The theatre is perfect for group presentations or briefing sessions.
  • Shared Spaces These areas are shared by all guests and can also be made available for private functions. Shared spaces are ideal for registrations or a chill out area where groups can get together to watch a movie, play games, conduct group activities or relax with a book and a cup of coffee. All shared spaces are equipped with a variety of technology and contemporary furniture for your enjoyment.
  • BBQs The BBQ area is located in our outdoor courtyard and can be made available for your group upon request.
  • Convenience Store The Village has a general store where you can purchase all kinds of perishables, including sweets, fresh healthy snacks and food to go. The store also stocks basic groceries and local newspapers, magazines and phone cards if you need to call home.
  • Business Centre The business centre is equipped with a variety of technology and has computers set up in an ergonomically sound environment for your enjoyment. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is accessible by security access to all Village guests upon request.
  • Internet Broadband internet can be accessed from each bedroom or from the on-site business centre. Village staff will assist you with all your internet requirements
  • Laundry The card-operated laundry can be accessed day and night via security access.
