Sydney University Village is located on campus at the University of Sydney. The Village is just metres away from the vibrant suburb of Newtown, full of boutique shops, restaurants and bars.
A 15 minute drive will bring you into the CDB with its popular waterfront attractions including the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, the Aquarium and Circular Quay.
From mid November to mid February, Sydney University Village specialises in affordable, contemporary accommodation for groups, conferences and independent travellers. With an on-site conference centre, we provide state of the art technology for budget conscious clients looking for convenient inner city meetings and accommodation. Specialising in long stay and group accommodation, we offer multiple additional services which can be coordinated and booked by our professional events team.
Sydney University Village provides year round amenities for clients looking for facilities for events, conferences, corporate launches and much more. Offering a variety of meeting rooms and catering options we can cater for groups of 10 to 250 delegates. Accommodation options are only available November through to February.

Sydney University Village is located on the door step of Sydney University and is approximately a 5 minute drive from Central Station and 20 minutes from Sydney Domestic and International airports. A 15 minute bus trip takes you directly into the city centre.
The Stage Conference Centre combines modern facilities, a relaxed Village environment, accommodation (available mid November to mid February) and a superb location to give you the ideal conference venue.
Venues for hire within The Stage Conferencing Centre include a number of intimate meeting rooms, an exhibition space, The Carillon Room accommodating up to 180 delegates banquet style and the Executive Boardroom seating up to 12 people.
The Village's contemporary design provides unique spaces for your next large or small event. The large courtyard transforms into the perfect space by night for your next cocktail function or networking session.
The Carillon Room is the ideal place for corporate launches, Christmas parties, conferences, business seminars, business breakfasts, gala banquets and cocktail parties. The Carillon Room seats 180 banquet style and is complemented by a pre-conference area for arrival drinks, morning and afternoon tea or a working lunch. The Carillon Room, located on level 2 of The Stage Conferencing Centre, boasts a beautiful leafy outlook over the Sydney University Village courtyard. The curved design of the room has a sleek modern look that suits any function, large or small.
The Stage Conferencing Centre's stylish, modern design is reflected in the sleek executive boardroom. The room set with a formal board table and comfortable executive chairs can seat up to 12 guests. Located on the second floor, the Executive Boardroom has large windows with a leafy outlook and natural lighting. It is also equipped with black-out blinds to suit your needs.
Our in-house catering company, Hoochie Mamma, pride themselves on meticulous attention to detail, planning and quality.
All food areas have abundant indoor and outdoor seating for a relaxed, social dining experience.
