Campus Summer Stays Yarra House is conveniently located on NMIT’s Fairfield Campus, just 10 mins drive to Melbourne’s city centre. Public transport is also in easy reach from Yarra House.

Yarra House

We are an exciting new alternative in tailored accommodation solutions for leisure, corporate, sporting, education and community groups.  The Village-style atmosphere and access to sporting facilities and conference venues make us ideal for groups as well as individual travellers.

Campus Summer Stays Yarra House is a student accommodation property that is now open to the public from 1 December 2010 to 31 January 2011, subject to availability.

Yarra House is a stunning heritage building which was fully refurbished in 2010. The stylish new property offers single and twin share fully air-conditioned rooms with ensuites.

Getting around

Public transport network provider, Metlink, has different bus and train lines running within walking distance from Yarra House to the City centre.

Parking

Summer guests are permitted to park their vehicles outside of Yarra House on the NMIT campus free of charge.

The Chapel

The Chapel is located adjacent to Yarra House. We can work with you to provide a combined conference and catering plan.

Caféteria

The on campus cafeteria is open Monday- Friday and has a variety of hot food, fresh sandwiches, coffee and drinks.

Nursery café

The Nursery café is located at the front of the campus is open Wednesday - Saturday for breakfast and lunch.

Village Facilities

  • Games room Yarra House's large Games room is the perfect place to relax with family and friends. Groups can get together to play a game of pool or table tennis or just unwind with a book on one of our comfy couches!
  • Recreation rooms Yarra House has three recreation rooms, each with a television and lounge area. Also included in the recreation rooms is a small kitchenette and hot water unit for tea and coffee.
  • BBQ zone The two BBQ areas are located in a sunny outdoor landscaped area and are available to guests free of charge!
  • Internet Broadband internet can be accessed from each bedroom. Staff will assist you with all your internet requirements.
  • Laundry Yarra House has a coin-operated laundry that can be accessed day and night. Entry is available to guests via security access.
  • Public telephones Public telephones are available for your convenience.
