University of Canberra Village offers a range of accommodation options with a choice of self-catered residential halls and stylish new apartments (opened in 2009). The new apartments feature environmentally sustainable design initiatives such as greywater recycling, solar powered hot water tanks and a wildlife corridor for native animals. 

Our flexible booking options allow you to book only what you need, so you can choose a whole multi-room apartment or just one room in a shared apartment.

With recreation lounges, a laundry, BBQ, landscaped village greens and access to University of Canberra's recreational facilities, we're the perfect choice for holiday, business, sports or conference groups visiting the Nation's capital.

Getting Around

Canberra's local bus service, Action, provides a number of different services running from locations around the Village.

Parking

Summer guests are permitted to park their vehicles in the University's residential car park, centrally located within the Village. It should be noted that all car parks on campus are public car parks.

the glasshouse

The Village boasts its own glass house, a stunning area shared by all guests. This space can be made available for private functions. The Glasshouse is ideal for group get togethers, registrations, or as a chill out area where groups can watch a movie, play games, conduct group activities or relax with a book and a cup of coffee. The Glasshouse includes a large flat-screen TV with Foxtel.

The UCU Conference Centre can provide a combined conference and catering plan (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the duration of your stay.

Breakfast Boxes

Continental breakfast packs can be purchased for $10.00 per pack, per day. 

Village Facilities

  • Village Greens The accommodation is set amongst lush village greens. You are welcome to take your shoes off and feel some grass in between your toes or grab a coffee and relax on the grass anytime.
  • Shared Spaces These areas are shared by all guests and can be made available for private functions. Shared spaces are ideal for group get togethers, registrations, or for catching the big game on the flat screen TV (Foxtel available). Shared spaces are equipped with a variety of entertainment, including a piano and a DVD/music player.
  • Table Tennis The Village has table tennis facilities available for your group to use. Our staff can assist you with your booking.
  • Volleyball Court The courts are available for individual use, group competitions or leisurely games. Our friendly staff can assist you with your booking.
  • BBQs BBQs can be arranged for your group upon request. We have set menus or can customise a menu for your group.
  • Laundry The coin operated laundry can be accessed day and night and entry is via security pass.
